How can I create a New API from the VerbumSDK Portal?

A new VerbumSDK Portal has been released, and this article will guide you on creating your new API Keys.

We’re thrilled to announce that a new version of the Verbum SDK portal is now live! This update introduces a refreshed, user-friendly interface and lays the groundwork for exciting future enhancements.

What’s New?

Refreshed Interface: Access the updated portal at sdk.verbum.ai
Parallel API Key Support: To ensure a smooth transition, your existing API keys will continue to work alongside the new keys from May 27th, 2025 to May 30th, 2025

To create new API Keys, you can follow this process:

Portal Access

1. Go to VerbumSDK portal

sdk.verbum.ai

2. Click on the sign up button

Sign up

1. To create your VerbumSDK account, fill in all the required fields in the registration form shown on the screen.

2. Make sure to use accurate and valid information. Once completed, click the “Register” button to finish the sign-up process.

You may choose to stay signed in by selecting the “Keep me signed in” option.

Email Verification

After completing the sign-up form, you’ll be prompted to verify your email address.

An email has been sent to the address you provided.

Check your inbox and click the “Verify My Email” button to confirm your account.

Make sure to check your spam or junk folder or click in the “Send me another email” link if you can’t find the email.

Login

Once your email is verified, you’ll be able to proceed to the login page and access the VerbumSDK portal.

Enter your registered email address and password, then click “Submit” to access your VerbumSDK dashboard.

Create your first Project

Upon logging into the VerbumSDK portal for the first time, a pop-up window will prompt you to create a new project.

To continue, simply enter a custom project name of your choice and click on the “Create Project” Button

This project will serve as the container for your configurations, API keys, and integration settings.

Create an API Key

To begin integrating VerbumSDK into your application, you’ll need to generate an API Key.

1. Inside your project dashboard, click the “Create API Key” button.

2. In the pop-up window, assign a custom name to your API Key to help you identify its purpose or usage.

Next, select the validity period:

Choose a predefined duration.
Or set a custom expiration date based on your project needs.

Once configured, click “Create Key” to generate your API Key.

API Key Created Successfully

Your API Key has been generated!

Check the box to confirm you’ve saved the key, then click “Finish” to complete the process.

Important Note:

Make sure to store your API Key in a secure location, as you’ll need it to authenticate your requests.

If you ever lose this key, you’ll need to generate a new one.

Do not include it directly in your code or share it in public repositories.

Manage Your API Key

From your project dashboard, you can now view and manage your API Key.

Each key includes options to:

Pause or Reactivate access as needed
Delete the key permanently

Important Note:

If you choose to delete an API Key, the action is immediate and irreversible.

This will instantly revoke access for any connected applications or active integrations using that key.

Use this section to keep your project secure and organized as you scale your VerbumSDK integrations.
