Inbound Calls (1 Device 2 Languages)
The 1 Device 2 Languages (1D2L) feature of VerbumCall allows users to have Over the Phone Interpretation (OPI) services in two different languages using just one mobile device. This amazing feature makes communication in a bilingual setting seamless and effortless. To access this service, simply call the assigned virtual number. There are two modes available for initiating a 1D2L call: Standard Mode and Preset Line Mode.
Standard Mode:
- Initiate the Call: Dial the assigned virtual number for VerbumCall’s 1D2L service using any mobile device.
a) Language Selection: After connecting, a pre-recorded message will prompt you to select the primary and secondary languages for the call.
b) Default Language Selection: To select English or Spanish, respond using the device's keypad.
c) Other Languages: For a different language, clearly state the name of the respective country in English e.g. say "France" for "French". The system will recognize your voice command and set the chosen language. - Confirmation: Once a language is selected, either through the keypad or voice command, a confirmation message will be played. Note that this confirmation will not be in both selected languages but in the language of the ongoing interaction or default language.
Three-Way Call Option:
At any point during the call, you can add a third person to the conversation. Use the call menu on your mobile device to initiate a three-way call. This feature allows an additional party to join and benefit from the bilingual interpretation service.
3. Begin Conversation: After confirmation and any additional connections, the call will proceed, allowing communication in the selected languages through consecutive interpretation.Preset Line Mode:
Dial the Preset Line: Dial the dedicated preset line number for your required language pair. These lines are pre-configured with two predetermined languages for frequent users.
Greeting and Confirmation: Upon connection, a greeting in both preset languages informs you that the line is set with the two predetermined languages. No language selection is necessary in this mode.
Immediate Conversation: Start the conversation immediately after the greeting. The call will facilitate interpretation between the two preset languages.
Outbound Calls (2 Devices 2 Languages)
VerbumCall enables users to have over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) in two different languages through the VerbumCall Portal. With this feature, a VerbumCall agent can connect two devices in one call, allowing for seamless interpretation between two languages.
