How to set up VerbumAgentis?

Are you new to using VerbumAgentis? This article is designed to guide you through the essential initial steps to get you started with VerbumAgentis.

Step 1 - Create the Inbound Flows

Configure call routing flows in Architect using pre-configured files to streamline your IVR and language setup.

We will create two inbound flows using the Genesys Architect tool and the two i3InboundFlow files provided in this guide. These files contain pre-configured settings from a previous instance and can be adapted with minimal changes for your new setup.

⚠️ Prerequisite: Make sure a DID is configured
Make sure you have at least one DID number configured for routing. If not, look for the “DID Setup” section at the end of this guide

No DID yet? Click here to get one and set it up.

Download the i3InboundFlow and DID_VTF_Flow files provided in this guide. These files contain pre-configured logic that will save you time during setup.

Download the necessary flow files

2. In the Admin panel, search for Architect, and click on it.

3. Click the Add Flow button.

4. Complete the form to create a new flow. Make sure to select the appropriate Division.

5. Click the (down chevron) next to the Save button and select Import from the dropdown menu.

6. Select your i3InboundFlow file and click the Import button.

7. In the IVR editor, review each option in the menu:

  • Click the Transfer to ACD node
  • Change the Queue to match the one you’ve already created
  • Repeat this for all IVR options

7a. To add new language options in the IVR:

  • Add another option in the menu
  • Duplicate the relevant flow nodes used in other options.
  • In Settings → Supported Languages, add the new language

7b. To modify an existing language option:

  • In Supported Languages, enable the desired language
  • Enter the spoken text for TTS (Text-to-Speech)
  • In the Set Participant Data node, update the TranslationLanguage and SpeechLanguage fields with the appropriate language code

8. Click Validate to check for configuration errors. Then click Save to store your changes, and finally Publish to activate the flow.

9. Repeat the steps 4 through 6 to import the DID_VTF_flow file.

Open Architect again, create a new flow, and use the Import option to upload the DID_VTF_flow.
Make sure your Audio Connector is enabled. You’ll need it to complete the flow setup.

10. Click Save and then Publish to complete the setup for both flows.

Step 2 - Configure Call Routings

Connect your inbound flows to the correct DID numbers so calls can be properly routed to agents.

  1. In the Admin panel, search for Call Routing and click on it.

2.  Click the Add button.

3. Fill out the form to create the first route:

  • Give the route a name like “Agentis Demo Inbound Call”
  • Select the appropriate Division
  • Choose the Inbound Call Flow you created earlier
  • Search and select the DID Number you purchased
  • Click Create

4. Create a second Call Route using the DID VTF Flow:

  • Use the DID Range (not a single DID number) for this route
  • Ensure the correct flow is selected
  • Click Create

Step 3 - Enable the Integration and Set Availability

Activate the widget and set your availability to receive test calls.

  1. In the Admin panel, search for Integrations and click on it.

2. Locate the Widget Integration previously created and toggle the Activate switch to enable it.

3. Refresh the browser window to ensure the widget is properly loaded and available for use.

4. Set your status to On Queue (or Available) so you can start receiving calls.

Your call routing and integrations are active. You can now proceed with testing your inbound calls.
